About the program

Launched in partnership with the National Film Board of Canada, Ocean School is a program of the Ocean Frontier Institute designed to foster ocean literacy: our understanding of the ocean's influence on us and our influence on the ocean.

Objectives

Contribute to global ocean literacy
Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Increase student and teacher engagement

Ocean School provides a free online educational experience that sits at the intersection of science, education, and storytelling. It combines leading-edge educational technology with inspiring visuals and forward-thinking approaches to create compelling and integrated learning experiences.
