The Ocean Frontier Institute recently launched the TCA Opportunities Fund, a new funding opportunity designed to support short‑term, collaborative research at the nexus of ocean, climate, and people.
This fund will allow researchers to respond rapidly to time sensitive opportunities (usually leveraging a substantial amount of external funding), and collaborate with external partners and collaborators from government, industry, and other institutions. Awards of $30,000–$75,000 are available. Projects are intended to be undertaken and completed within 24 months.
Eligible applicants include faculty and research staff at Dalhousie University, Université du Québec à Rimouski, Université Laval, and Memorial University. Applicants must be actively involved with the Transforming Climate Action program.
