About the program

The Industry Postdoctoral Fellowship (IndPDF) Program matches outstanding postdoctoral researchers with leading ocean companies to deliver the best talent to accelerate innovation and foster new partnerships. Postdoctoral fellows have the opportunity to increase the impact of their research through broad industry opportunities while gaining meaningful professional development experiences.  Industry partners get access to top minds and university resources through an efficient matching and placement program.

This program is currently being offered as a pilot initiative, pending final Transforming Climate Action governance approval. While all core elements are in place, some aspects may be refined as the program evolves. Participation during this pilot phase offers a unique opportunity to help shape the program’s future direction.
