Rigolet has a population of around 330 people. The community was established in 1735.

Has its own Inuttitut dialect.

A large population of salmon resides here.

This is the southernmost officially recognized Inuit Community in the world.

The water here is open all year round.

Has two main festivals throughout the year, the Salmon Fest in summer and the Tikigâksuagusik festival in spring.
