About
Jude has been a glider technician since 2016. He briefly split time between MEOPAR’s Bedford Basin Time Series and glider field operations before shifting to focus on Slocum and Wave Glider operations. Jude now is involved with glider and instrument maintenance, planning and leading glider deployments and missions, and small boat operations.
Jude received his BSc in Marine Biology and Oceanography at Dalhousie University. During this time he was involved with several labs and groups within the Biology and Oceanography Departments through Co-Op opportunities and the TOSST (Transatlantic Ocean System Science and Technology) undergraduate program, eventually leading him into this group.
