About the workshop
We have partnered with the SURGE science innovation sandbox to support trainees in preparing strong applications.
This virtual half day workshop will introduce the Seed Fund and provide prospective applicants with more information about the program, tips on writing a strong application, and feedback on your ideas and ways to align them with OFI’s strategic priorities.
Who can participate
Researchers from across Canada are welcome to join, regardless of application status. The event will include a deep dive into design thinking and how to define problems from a human perspective.
Participants will also receive guidance on the Seed Fund application. Participation does not guarantee a successful application but it will increase your chances, and provide helpful coaching on grant writing for other opportunities as well.
