About the One Ocean Science Congress
The One Ocean Science Congress is a pivotal event organized by CNRS and IFREMER as part of the Third United Nations Ocean Conference. The goal of the congress is to provide comprehensive scientific insights into the ocean's health and future trajectory, informing global decision making on ocean conservation, and support Sustainable Development Goal 14: Life Below Water. This SDG aims to conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas, and marine resources for sustainable development, and is currently the least funded of all Sustainable Development Goals. The Congress will feature various plenary sessions, poster presentations, panels, and roundtables.
